Swatch & Review: Wet N Wild Take On A Day Primer

As you know with any makeup look  I do on myself or on a client I always use an eyeshadow primer.  A few of my favorites are Too Faced Shadow Insurance and Urban Decay Primer Potion. At times I may use a cream based shadow as a primer. I'm a big fan of Wet N Wild Cosmetics especially when it comes to their lipsticks, palettes, blushes, and more. When I saw the release for the Fergie Centerstage collection I was excited to see what they had in store. I was only able to get a hold of the primer.

NYX Setting Sprays

NYX is a popular drugstore brand it is sold at Target, Ulta, Local Beauty Supply Store, Ebay, NYXCosmetics.com. It's accessible to everyone and affordable. Recently they released their on settings spray which a spray to set your makeup for a longer wearing time. These sprays can be used for professional and personal use. The two sprays are call 'Dewy Finish' & 'Matte Finish'

My favorite is the Dewy Finish.

Dupe or Dud: Beauty Blender VS Blending Sponge

Everybody has been raving about the whole blending sponge. I've seen many varieties of a blending sponge. I own both a beauty blender and a no name cheap regular sponge. Is there really a difference? Yes

The Beauty Blender sponge is quite expensive for it to be a sponge. It is very soft and lightweight and can be used dry and wet for liquid, cream, or loose powders(dry sponge). I like to use this sponge both ways. When it is wet it blending the products much better. When it is dry it works just as good. 

The No Name sponge is cheaper. It's a bit for firmer and shaped a little different. It can also be used wet and dry. When it's dry it feels much hard than the BB but when it's wet it's easier to work with. For the price of what the Beauty Blender cost you can own about 10-15 of these little sponges.

Which sponge would you reach for?

I would reach for the Beauty Blender for personal preference. 

I use both sponges on myself and for my clients.

Swatchview: AJ Crimson BB Cream

I'm addicting to face products, BBcream, foundation. and tinted moisturizer. Whenever I see a new product that's being released I feel as though I have to try it out just because it's something new. I was check out AJ Crimson's website and noticed he released a line of BB cream for women of all shades. I believe the price of the BB Cream is now $15 but I'm not to certain on that.

I got the shade #3. Which is a tad to dark and it's appears too red, but with color correcting the problem is solved. It's great product that offers great coverage.

Alert, Alert, It's Always Red

I can admit that back in the day you wouldn't even spot me even picking up a red lipstick to see how it looks in the tube let alone put it on. I've fallen in love with red lipstick. I remember the first one I tried which was by Revlon which was called Really Red. I ventured out to MAC's most wanted Ruby Woo, and now I've found a new love her name is Always Red by Sephora. Sephora has a line of cream lip-stains that are great. Once I put the lip-stain on it dries matte and doesn't budge who doesn't love not having to reapply a lipcolor. I DO! Let's See how it looks :)
